Price list columns

Column

Description

Name

The price list name, with its reference beneath — for example PL-2026-001.

Manufacturer

Whose price list it is.

Region

Which region the prices apply to. Base means the list has no region and applies everywhere.

Currency

The currency the prices are in.

Items

How many priced items the list holds.

Effective

The date the prices take effect from.

Live

A switch. When on, the list's costs are used when quotes are priced; when off, the list is ignored and its costs stay stored.

Before any list is added, the page reads "No price lists yet. Upload one to get started."

Row actions

Select a row to open the price list: its matched rows, its Live switch, and a downloadable import report showing which rows of the original file matched your catalog and which did not. The row's menu offers Export, Duplicate and Delete.

To take a price list offline

Procedure

  1. In the left navigation, select Pricing > Manufacturer price lists.

  2. On the list's row, turn the Live switch off.

A message confirms List taken offline. Quotes priced from now on ignore the list; a new line for one of its products shows no cost until another live list supplies one. Turn the switch on again to restore it — the message reads List is live.

To replace a manufacturer's prices with a new list

Procedure

  1. Upload the new file as a new list; see C4.2.

  2. Open the new list and check its matched rows.

  3. On the new list's row, turn Live on.

  4. On the old list's row, turn Live off.

Quotes started from now on price from the new costs.
