This chapter covers the Quotes page and the work of a quote from creation to sending. Open the page from Quotes > My quotes in the left navigation. A quote is a priced response you issue to a customer; you can start one from a customer's request for quotation or item list, or from nothing and add the lines yourself.

The tabs on a quote
Open a quote and its work is spread across tabs: Quote builder · Input Documents · Material Match · Compliance Statement and Submittal (when the template turns them on) · Outputs · Activity. The pages in this chapter follow the tabs in the order you use them.
A quote from start to sent

Select + New quote — drop the customer's RFQ or start blank, and choose the customer and templates (C2.2).

Watch the lines extract and match on Material Match, and approve the matches (C2.6).

Preview, then download or send from Outputs (C2.8).

If the customer wants changes, create a new version (C2.9).
