The Outputs tab on a quote is where you download the documents it produces and send them to your customer. Which documents a quote produces is set by its quote template; see C3.3 Choosing which tabs a quote gets.

The line-by-line compliance statement, when the quote template turns it on. |

The specification pages for the quoted products, when the quote template turns it on. |

What happens to the quote |
|---|---|
|
Download and send from your own email |
Nothing changes. The quote stays Draft and is not locked. Keep your own record of what you sent. |
|
Email from Vertibid (where enabled for your organization) |
When delivered to a recipient, the quote is stamped with the send date, moves to Sent, and is locked. |
|
WhatsApp or Botim |
The message is handed to your own app (for Botim, copied for you to paste). The quote is marked as sent and dated but is not locked, because nothing confirms delivery. |
A locked quote's content can no longer change; to make changes, create a new version. See C5.2 and C2.9.
