The Material Match tab on a quote is where you review what Vertibid matched each line of the customer's document to in your product catalog, and decide which matches go on the quote. The tab's badge is the number of lines still needing a decision. Once a quote has been sent and locked, the tab is read-only.
How matching works
For each line in the customer's document, Vertibid searches your catalog and scores the candidates. A line ends in one of two states:

Matched — a best match with a confidence score out of 100, and up to five alternatives that are genuinely interchangeable, best first.

No catalogue match — nothing in your catalog fits well enough. The line needs a manual decision.
Confidence is shown as a colored dot on each row and groups the rows into three bands: High (85 and above), Medium (70 to 84) and Low (below 70).
Approval and the quote
Approving a match adds that product as a line on the quote; there is no separate "add to quote" step. Un-approving removes the line. A row is approved exactly when its line is on the quote, so deleting the line on the Quote builder tab also un-approves the match here.

Find matches / Re-match — runs matching for the quote, or runs it again after your catalog has changed.

Accept high — "Approve all high-confidence matches": approves every match with a confidence of 85 or more.

Search items… — finds a line by its text.

Manage columns — adds columns: Category, Benchmark, Supplier code, Mfr code, Brand, Pack size; on the match side Customer code, Resolved product, Item number, MPN.

Full screen — expands the grid to fill the window. Press Esc to leave.
What a row shows
The item description with Configurable, Substitute or Variant badges where they apply — a Substitute or Variant is a vetted alternative, never presented as an exact match — and, on the right, the match card with the confidence, the alternatives, and the approve tick.
To review the matches on a quote
Before you begin

The quote's Material match column on the Quotes page reads Ready for review.
Procedure

On the quote, select the Material Match tab. If matching has not run, select Find matches.

Select Accept high. A message confirms how many lines were added to the quote.

Select the Medium tab, then the Low tab. For each row, check the match card; select the tick to approve, or select an alternative first to replace the match.

Select the Needs review tab. For each row, select Find a match, search your catalog, and select the product. The line is added to the quote as a manual line.
The Reviewed tab lists every approved line, and the badge on the Material Match tab shows the lines still waiting. Continue on the Quote builder tab; see C2.3.
To approve several rows at once
Procedure

Select the checkbox on each row to approve.

In the bar that appears, select Approve.
Each selected row moves to Reviewed and its line is added to the quote; one message confirms the count.
Finding a match by hand
The Find a match panel searches your catalog by product name, MPN or supplier code. Narrow it with With image and Has price, and sort by Default, Name (A–Z), Price (low → high), Price (high → low) or Recently updated. Choosing a product marks the line Manual.
