This chapter covers the Products page — your product catalog, the products Vertibid matches customer documents against. Open it from Catalog > Products in the left navigation. One catalog serves both Tender and Quotes: when a bill of quantities or a request for quotation is read, each of its lines is matched to a product here.
The heading shows how many materials the catalog holds — for example, "1,444 materials". Each product carries its manufacturer, name, code and category, and — where loaded — a price and an image.

A product's cost does not live in the catalog. Costs come from your manufacturer price lists, looked up by manufacturer and catalogue reference; see C4 Manufacturer price lists.
Before your first match
Confirm that the catalog is loaded and that the manufacturers you sell appear under Filter > Manufacturer. If a manufacturer or product range is missing, contact your Compatio contact; see A3.3 How the catalog is loaded.
